It is very straightforward.
We communicate!!! We want to know about you as an individual and an athlete.
What are your strengths?
What are your goals?
What is your time commitment or availability for training?
We then measure your metrics to determine where you are in terms of fitness etc. From these data points, we are able to guide you from where you are to where you want to be.
These are a few of the questions that we ask of you and tests that we perform with you to be able to craft a specific plan that is tailored to YOU.
It then becomes a process of communicating the workouts to you. You do the work and we look at the results to determine where to focus you and how to increase the intensity to improve you in your areas of weakness.
Where are the best places to get gear?
We always recommend supporting local businesses, inasmuch as it is practical. Often these local businesses offer significant discounts to clubs/teams in the area and it is worth while to be involved in area/local fitness organizations for both the knowledge and the social aspects.
That being said, do your research to know what you are looking for and what the MSRP (Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price) is. Be weary of businesses who will not budge off of this number.
If you are unable to find an item locally, then there are online stores that offer seasonal sitewide sales and/or a clearance section that is available year round.
